Drinks can be ordered on the self serve screen. Good selection of bakery items. I like to get the brioche bread. Seats available for indoor dining. Restrooms available. Trash cans were overflowing with trash.

[Year 2025 - update] I ordered the iced Strawberry Matcha Latte ($5.95 - Large) and Hokkaido Custard Bun ($2.35). The cashier (Dana) is helpful, diligent, and welcoming. Dana carefully bagged my pastry; she also correctly inputed my order. I arrived at 85 Degrees (West Covina) on Friday, 7PM. 85 Degrees (West Covina) is filled with customers. The interior resembled a busy loud supermarket. I waited five minutes and 10 seconds. The iced Strawberry Matcha Latte is refreshing, satisfying, and comforting. It's not watered-down; rather, the ingredients taste fresh. I am impressed at the amount of liquid. The strawberry milk is flavorful and the matcha is noticeable. Great quality beverage. The Hokkaido Custard Bun was packaged properly; it was not smashed like last time. The pastry made me smile as I bit into it. It's so fluffy and sweet. The bread is so soft while its filling is so puffy and whipped. Yum!! Ambiance was unimpressive. The floors and noise resembled an asian supermarket. Customers were scavenging for an open table to sit at. And music was inaudible over the chatter. Understandably it's late, but the floors all looked grimy. Regardless, the service and goods were much better compared to my last visit. Overall, 85 Degrees (West Covina) has noticeably improved with its service. The location serves affordable, good value beverages and pastries.

Love this bakery because of the variety of baked goods, bread and drinks! I often order hot jasmine milk tea, taro slush, mango slush and sea salt jasmine green tea or the sea salt coffee. Service is fast for the most part.

This was a well stocked 85 Bakery packed full of all the baked goodies, desserts, and more. There are so many choices to munch on. This is a huge and clean space. It's in a huge plaza with lots of parking. The staff were quick and friendly. The line moved pretty quickly to order. I got the Strawberry Milk Tea and it had fresh, real strawberries inside! It comes in a large size only. It reminds me of Green Crush's strawberry milk drink.

Prior to having lunch at Thumbling which happens to be in the same McIntyre Square, I dropped by this 85 C Bakery to pick up some pastries for my dear friends. It's quite spacious, but has limited inside seating. They do have some outside patio seating. Choices of pastries are abundant just like any other 85 C Bakery. Prices are reasonable. I grabbed 4 different kinds of pastries which I forgot to take pictures of due to my rushing. My usual go-tos are coconut, red bean, custard, taro type pastries. Staff was very limited at the time of my visit, hence, it took longer for the line to get through. The gentleman who was behind the counter was very friendly and did the best he could. Thank you sir! They do have a self-ordering kiosk for use. I think it's primarily for drink orders not 100% sure though since I didn't use it. This bakery has good space... they could add a few more tables and chairs inside though. Anyway, I would return here should I visit the McIntyre Square again.

I'm obsessed with 85 now after visiting California. I am in love with this chain and it is definitely mine now go to pastry shop and boba shop The drinks are so afford. The pastries are so affordable. And everything taste amazing. In New York the same thing would be sold for at least 1.5x the price. There's always parking available outside and the cashiers are always very kind. The service is always really fast and we get our drinks within five minutes of ordering. There's usually little to no line. If you are only ordering drinks, there is a kiosk to quickly order drinks instead of waiting to speak to a cashier.

DON'T go here hungry ............ it's a bakery and not only smells great but as you can see they have a ton of bakery options (see my inside pics). (BTW, those trays are dangerous - you'll be tempted to fill them up.) We browsed forever trying to make up our minds. The checkout line looks long, but moved quickly. Even though there was plenty of inside seating, we at their outside patio, see pic. We shared their Blueberry Muffin and their Egg Tart Box, see my pic. The Blueberry Muffin was okay on average: the muffin body was a light, vanilla based muffin - very moist. When you look at my pic, you'll see ALL the blueberries: they are the few on a few outside rim of the muffin. There were very few blueberries in total, and none in the muffin. The Egg Tarts were good. These were nice, little portions. The crust part was okay and held together well (I popped them out of the aluminum cups and ate them like a cookie.). But the inside custard-type egg filling had the right amount of sweetness. This was a good stop for us from our freeway travels.
